The Unterkirnach health resort is situated in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park and is nevertheless easy to find via almost every traffic route. From Offenburg via the B33 through the Black Forest – that is the “WAY TO YOUR DESTINATION”. 

By car…
When arriving by car, various autobahn connections are possible. 
The route via the B 33 takes you through the beautiful Black Forest directly to your holiday destination. Select your own route. 

A 81: Autobahn Stuttgart – Herrenberg – Singen. Exit Villingen-Schwenningen. Follow the signs towards VS-Villingen, towards Furtwangen, Villingen health resort region, and then towards Unterkirnach. 

A 5: Autobahn Frankfurt – Karlsruhe – Basel. Exit Offenburg towards Villingen-Schwenningen, B 33 to St. Georgen; after the town sign turn right towards Furtwangen – Brigach – Oberkirnach – Unterkirnach.

Environmentally-friendly transportation to the holiday resort? It doesn’t get any easier than this: The train station is in Villingen-Schwenningen / district of Villingen (8 km from Unterkirnach), Black Forest Railway: Offenburg route – Villingen - Constance Non-stop train connection from Dortmund, Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. From Villingen with bus number 61 (dial-a-bus service also available) to Unterkirnach. Many hosts offer a transfer from / to the VS-Villingen train station.

Regardless whether you are way up north or far in the east, a trip to Unterkirnach is always worth it. You think it’s too far? Then fly into either the airport in Baden-Württemberg or nearby Switzerland. A rental car is recommended for the rest of your journey.
